Interest

I love math.  I hope my passion for math comes out in my teaching and I hope you will like math a little more after this year.  During the year, you will see how math works in the real-life and be able to relate it to your life.  You will be ask to think outside the box, but it is for your own good.  I hope to answer the number one question, "When will I need to use this?"

Hello Students,

I am one of the 8th Grade Math Teachers here at Hoyt Middle School.  I also teach Algebra to 8th grade students.  I coach two sports here, volleyball and girls basketball. This Blogger is where we will be sharing our experiences about the class.  It might be a reflection, exit ticket, or questions to an assignment.  I think this will be a great tool and something different than a worksheet.
